U-NAT

(United Network for Art, Architecture and Technology)

In August 2013, I established U-NAT, formerly known as (d-NAT), in Dubai, with the aim of creating an educational hub and an experimental digital design research platform. Our goal was to connect individuals with similar interests and foster discussions on the evolving landscape of digital design and fabrication technologies. Operating at the intersection of art, design, and technology, we embarked on explorations into new realms of design and spatial experiences facilitated by digital tools. Shortly after its inception, U-NAT began collaborating with international partners to host workshops and events, delving into novel aspects of digital design and fabrication. Additionally, we initiated monthly public talks at various social venues in Dubai. By 2017, we expanded our presence to establish U-NAT Baghdad and commenced workshops in Bahrain, Baghdad, Sydney, and Oman. Over time, U-NAT transitioned from a social hub in Dubai to a renowned digital design education platform, both regionally and internationally.
